SemiQ (formerly Global Power Technologies Group) began developing silicon carbide technology at its headquarters in Southern California in 2012. It is a developer and manufacturer of silicon carbide (SIC) power semiconductor devices and materials headquartered in the United States. The company is still planting Epi and designing equIPMent there. SemiQ specializes in providing high-quality and efficient standard and customized silicon carbide (SiC) power semiconductors for high-voltage applications. The product portfolio includes mosfets and diodes, offering split, modular, and bare chip options, combining high performance with industry-leading reliability.

SemiQ's SiC diode has undergone over 20 million device hours of high-temperature accelerated stress testing.
